This project is a solo project I made in Godot. It is a Breakout game but I created a save/load system where it stores the highscore and the name of the player on the web using Rust.

Hi, I'm Vasilis

A 29-year-old game programmer and web developer, and a graduate of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Creative Media & Game Technologies. I’m a dedicated problem solver who thrives on learning new technologies and continuously improving my skills. Throughout my studies and professional experience, I’ve worked extensively in team-based game development, collaborating closely with designers, artists, and fellow programmers. I enjoy tackling complex challenges and often propose multiple technical solutions to give the team flexibility and clarity when making decisions.
To further develop my analytical and problem-solving abilities, I completed an internship under Bram Dingelstad, who works as a consultant in the field. Before that, I contributed as a QA Tester for Placeholder Gameworks on the released title CraftCraft Fantasy Merchant Simulator. I also have two published games on itch.io, developed through both team and personal projects.
In addition to game development, I’m a self-taught web developer. What began as a personal curiosity quickly evolved into a strong secondary skillset. I’m a fast learner and have gained experience in several programming languages and technologies, including C#, GDScript, GML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and beginner-level Rust.
I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, create, and collaborate on meaningful projects.
